A note about data scale: 

Scale is an important factor in data usage.  Certain scale datasets
are not suitable for some project, analysis, or modeling purposes.
Please be sure you are using the best available data. 

1:24000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the
county level.
1:24000 data should NOT be used for high accuracy base mapping such
as property parcel boundaries.
1:100000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the
multi-county or regional level.
1:125000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the
regional or state level or larger.

Vector datasets with no defined scale or accuracy should be
considered suspect. Make sure you are familiar with your data

DATA LINEAGE SUMMARY:
GeoPlan downloaded this data set in shapefile format from Michael Bosi via
email (MichaelBosi@colliergov.net) on February 10, 2012. When received, the 
data was in Geographic projection: NAD_1983_StatePlane_Florida_East_FIPS_0901_Feet. 
The file was projected to FGDL Albers HARN.

- Reprojected data to FGDL Albers HPGN
- Added a DESCRIPT field to attribute table based on TYPE
- Added a FGDLAQDATE field based on date received from source 
- Renamed shapefile from RLSABoundary to rlsabnd
- Upcased all records in the attribute table

St. Lucie county rural land stewardship areas were added to this dataset in September 2014. The data was received from Janet Merkt (GIS@stlucieco.org) of the St. Lucie County Planning & Development Services Dept. on Sept. 3rd 2014 via email. When received the data was in Geographic projection: NAD_1983_StatePlane_Florida_East_FIPS_0901_Feet. The file was projected to FGDL Albers HARN. New St. Lucie features were merged to existing Collier features using the merge tool in ArcGIS. - Reprojected data to FGDL Albers HPGN - COUNTY field was added - Added a DESCRIPT field to attribute table based on TYPE - Edited TYPE records to include full type description "RURAL LAND STEWARDSHIP AREA" - Added NAME field and populated from St. Lucie county data which had an "AREA" field with a descriptive area name. - Added a FGDLAQDATE field based on date received from source - Input shapefile from St. Lucie was named RLSA - Upcased all records in the attribute table Process Date: 20140924
